Best Friends Part 2

Warning Hazardous?

Coins and cats are probably not the best to have within arms reach, but we only have so much control over a cat and a 2 year old. We were blessed with the news today that all of Miller's food allergy blood results were negative. We'll just have to keep on top of the itchy skin and keep his hands clean after loving on Gable Gable.

Frisco Festival

This weekend we met our friends for a train ride and some water fun with the firemen at the Rogers Frisco Festival. Ella, Caleb, & Jay loved to pretend to blow the horn saying 'Choo Choo' most of the way.

Before & After

The first picture is of Ella tucked in for bed. She requires 2 blankies (preferably pink) and a comforter for herself and another pink blankie for her dollies and doggies, REGARDLESS of the temperature in her room. It doesn't really matter, because she ends up like the second picture by the time she's asleep. Night night.

5 Months

Miller hit his 5 month mark on this earth last week. We have finally gotten his eczema under control and are off benadryl. He is still negotiating sleep patterns with mom & dad, but we feel an agreement will be reached soon.

2 Silly Monkeys Jumpin' on the Bed

Caleb H. came to play with us yesterday, and these two had quite a time. Miller thought they were great entertainment as well.

Let's Make a Deal

The 'thumbs up' is now Ella's tool for negotiating. "Mommy, I want M&Ms, okay?(insert thumbs up)" She's also started telling me, "Mommy, I no like NO" when I give her my answer.

1st Big Kid Bath

Miller got to take a bath with his big sister last night. I think she was more interested in his tub, than in him.

Growing Up

Miller is now grabbing his legs and feet and sitting up (very forward) by himself. Every time I get out the camera to catch one of his milestones, Ella wants me to take a picture of her doing what Miller does. Guess what? Ella can sit on her own and grab her feet too!

Daddy's Little Caddy

Ella accompanied daddy to hit a few golf balls the other day. She's great at giving him a new ball per shot and filling in the holes with sand. Just wait until she can drive the cart!

Aunt Carmen, Aunt Jennifer, & Baby Jake!

We were so blessed that the Hudman's traveled to visit last week. Jake and Miller are going to have to stick together in the midst of all the girls.

Favorite Pictures

These are my favorite pictures of our nieces and nephew from this past week. Love and miss them all.

3 Little Princesses

The Weaver Girls were here last week to celebrate their birthdays. We heard the clip clop of dress up shoes and squeals all week long. Poor Tweed even got sucked into the drama.

Child Labor

I tried to help Ella with laundry, but everytime I tried she yelled, 'No, I help!'. She finally asked for help after I heard several 'heys!' when she was yelling at the clothes for falling out of the washer, which she was catching with her feet.

4 Month Check Up

Not suprisingly, Miller was in the 95th percentile for length(26 1/2 in), 80th percentile for weight(16lb 10oz), and 90th percentile for head circumference(17 1/2 in). He did great with his shots, and was all smiles for us and big sister afterwards.

I'll probably move these later, but wanted to post some shots the church got of Jason and Miller's baptisms in April.

Lunch

Daddy's a sucker for a sick kid. Ella didn't want to eat anything but a few grapes for lunch today, but jumped at daddy's suggestion of ice cream. Sigh...

18 Weeks

It's a good thing Ella is around, or Miller might actually roll onto his tummy on his own!

Ella's 2 Year Check Up

No shots and she got a cool plane! She is 34 1/4 inches high (75%) and 26lbs (50%). What a big girl!

Evolution of a Kiss

This morning Ella gave me a kiss and I heard a 'smack' with it for the first time. How sweet that after 2 years we've gone from the open mouth, to the closed mouth, to the closed mouth with emphasis!

Bet You Can't Do This

Miller started blowing raspberries yesterday, a milestone his sister never accomplished. Must prove that genetically boys are better spitters. ;)
