Frick & Frack

Our neighborhood friends joined us for play on a hot, sunny day. Marissa is 2 months older than Ella, and her little brother, Jacob, is 1 month younger than Miller. Marissa always strolls her Elmo over, so Ella insists we go inside and get her stroller and Elmo too.

Ella's 2nd Dentist Visit

Dr. Rhodes couldn't get over how much Ella had changed (see post in June 2006). He said she had 16 beautiful teeth with plenty of room for her adult teeth to come in. She had a great time watching the fish in the waiting room and even got some toys & a tattoo to take home.

Big Sister

I looked downstairs while getting the kids pajamas and saw Ella on the playmat with Miller holding his hand as usual. They were just so precious in their nakedness, that I had to snap a photo. They'll probably want to kill me for this one day, but for right now, I'm the mommy.

My parents kept me up until midnight to watch a ballgame and see some fireworks and all I got was this lousy shirt.

4th of July Vacation

The family went to visit the Weaver girls for some Deanna Rose fun and fireworks at the TBones Baseball game. Grandma was able to get through the floodwaters to meet us as well!

Lauren's Pump It Up Party

Ella's friend, Lauren, turned 4 this past week. I'm not sure if Ella or Mommy had more fun!

Best Friends

Miller now smiles when Ella comes around. He kicks in excitement to see her and of course, she yells, 'Miller, no kicking Ella!'

Ella the Scholar

I walked in our bedroom the other day to find Ella curled up in our bed reading this book saying, 'a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h....'

And I Love Ya Back!

The ladies love Miller. Ella is very protective of her brother and still shouts, 'no, MY Miller'. He is 15weeks today and weighing in at 16 1/2 lbs. I haven't measured his length, but know I can't sit him comfortably in my lap anymore. :(

Who you lookin' at?

Our boy is getting so strong. He is holding his head up most of the time, and turns forward when being carried to see where he's going. Where does the time go?

Hot Sunny Day!

Ella invited some of her friends over for a popsicle and pool party. The slide was a hit with Ansley and Jay, while Caleb and Ella preferred to stay on the sidelines and watch.

Ella is into copying us these days. We have to be very careful with what we say and do.

After almost a year of gymnastics, I finally broke down and bought Ella appropriate attire. She was thrilled.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Okay, so there was no game, but it was a lot of fun running the bases on the TBones ballfield in K.C. last week with the cousins.

Mr. Man & Big Boy

These are the names Ella calls Miller the most. He's 16lbs. now, 3months old, and rolling from tummy to back. He definitely has his own look, although I see more of Mommy in him than Daddy.

Happy Father's Day!

We had a great weekend with Daddy and the kids loved taking him to the pool.

Ella took her 1st toenail polish and new TARGET bathing suit out for a swim during her playdate with Isabella. Mommy used our cool pink bullseye TARGET tote as our swimbag.

One of My Favorite Things

Throwing coins in the fountain. Even when the coins are gone, I like to stay a while and enjoy the view and sounds.

Taking it all in

Ella was so used to singing 'Happy Birthday' to other kids at Mom's Day Out, she was in awe when they were singing to her. She celebrated with a fabulous chocolate face that would make any Mommy proud.

Our girl is so spoiled & loved. Grandma & Grandpa came to see her and take her to the duck park on Thursday. Friday, Grammy threw her a birthday party at her house.
