The family went to the Dr. today and Miller flipped head down. We just hope he stays there until delivery. Mommy's belly has grown a lot. She's measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule.
Ella was showing Gable much love after recovering from a very sick week. Hopefully our 25lber will continue to improve and be back to his old self again.
Since I forgot to take a picture of the playgroup, this is what you get. Lots of snow, school closings, and cooped up kids (and moms) makes for a great day for a playdate. Thanks for coming Noah, Jay, & Caleb.
I know I'm not going to win Mother of the Year for this one, but couldn't help notice the similarities b/w Ella in a ball cap and 'Frank' from 30 Rock.
Ella's latest accessory trend is a hat. She gets one out every night after her bath and wears it until she goes to bed, the lower the better. She sometimes asks for it first thing when she wakes up in the morning too.
Ella discovered a new pair of shoes in a shopping bag and couldn't wait to put them on. She insisted on putting on one of her sweaters as well. If I can just get her as excited about the rest of her wardrobe.
Ella still calls out for the girls after her naps, hoping they might be here again. I've caught her a couple of times playing a game that they taught her. Here are a few shots of them during their week here last week. They played so hard one night, Uncle Jason gave them all cups of ice water and they sucked them down in record time. We miss our sweet girls. :(
When we got back from Grandma & Grandpa Thompson's house, Ella immediately put on her new poncho Grandma made her, matched it with her purple crocs, and sat in her new favorite chair for a photo.
Ella's cousins taught her how to eat corn on the cob and she liked it! A true miracle for a girl who eats very few veggies. Mommy & Daddy have tried to show her before, but I guess were not as cool as Nadia & Audrey.
Thank you Grammy & Aunt Peanut for the trip to Build a Bear. Nadia and I both got pink poodles and Audrey got a pink Momma cat & pink baby kitten. Nadia named her dog, Rosa; Audrey named her cats, Momma & baby; and I named my dog, Dog.
Santa visited Nadia, Audrey, & me and the reindeer ate most of the carrots! My favorite gift was a salon chair for my dolls, but thought it was better suited for me to sit in.
Ella loved the garden set Jay & Caleb got her for Christmas. Ms. Ruth just thought that Ella needed some tools too while helping Mommy and Daddy with the landscaping next spring.
Imagine using jazz hands with the above title. :) Ella thought Santa wasn't all that bad when he pulled out a sucker. The people from the news showed up as well...what a little star.
Ella got to celebrate Christmas a little early with Aunt Carmen and Aunt Jennifer this year. She loves all her gifts, but is most excited about their baby boy due in May!
We have had a sick week at the Bohannon household, but are finally feeling better. Miss Ella kept us smiling while she was trying to 'hide' the toilet paper, but looked more like she was trying to accentuate her curves.
Grammy suggested we put Ella at the big table since she wanted to sit in the chairs so bad. She loved her first meal there, and gladly gave a 'cheese'. She later discovered the 'stairs' we got for Gable to get on our bed, and thinks they are just perfect for her.
Ella was playing in Tippy's crate while I was working. I looked over and realized she had pulled Tippy's blanket over her and was laying on her pillow. She will eventually learn that wearing black and animal fur don't mix.
