KC Trip

We went up to K.C. this past weekend to celebrate early Halloween. The kids couldn't get enough of each other, and they loved playing games with Grandma. Nadia had her last game to cheer and we all went to the Deanna Rose Halloween celebration. I took the camera, but never took a single picture. Luckily daddy got a few shots with his phone.

End of a Season

We went to the Naturals ballpark one last time this year for the season ticket holder appreciation day. We didn't see any baseball, but got to tour the park and watch some batting practice in the cages. The kids took a break in the clubhouse for a photo after battling the cold in the bouncy houses.

The Funniest Knock Knock Joke Ever

We can never make it to the punchline with these clowns.

Skipper the Scarecrow

Since we were out of town during the annual Rogers Fall Festival this year, we had to create our own scarecrow in the back of daddy's pickup. Ella & Miller mostly played on the hay bale, but liked the final product enough to say goodnight to him every night before going to bed.

Chile Pepper Run

Daddy ran his first 10K this weekend at the 20th annual Chile Pepper run in Fayetteville. He completed with his best time and got to share it with his friend, Brad. We are so proud of our Daddy!!!

Halloween 2008

Although Ella changes her mind daily, we are making her stick with the cheerleader costume for Halloween. Miller isn't much of a fan of the peacock, but had to get some more use out of this one. We won't make him be a cheerleader next year, I promise.

Smarty Pants

Ella is so excited to show her daddy she can write her name when he gets home from his trip!

Family

We were fortunate to spend the day with Jason's other sister, Machelle, and her daughter, Brittany during our south Arkansas trip. Jake, Ella, & Miller enjoyed the rocking chairs at the Cracker Barrell before we headed out to the Children's Museum. We didn't get a picture of Aunt Peanut, but loved staying the weekend with her!

Diamond Mine Trip

We didn't find any diamonds, but as Ella put it, "Now THAT was FUN!" The mine is just a large piece of land that is frequently turned to aide in digging. We found lots of rocks, and one quartz, and two happy dirty digging kids.

Just a Little Push

Miller decided it was too painful to sit and watch Ella struggle to do her front roll, so has been 'helping' her. The diaper box is to keep Miller out of the fireplace gravel. And don't ask me why Ella never has any pants on.

Somewhere, Over the Rainbow....

In my 34 years on this earth, I have never seen a COMPLETE rainbow. After all the rain today, we were blessed with this beautiful sight out our front window. I couldn't capture the whole arc, but it was complete and gorgeous.

OOOHHH, Chihuahua, CHIHUAHUA!

Ella & Mommy had their very 1st date night tonight. We had been waiting for a month to see this movie and it was worth the wait. We decided Aunt Carmen & Aunt Jennifer have to go see it for their own date night since they have the lovely Bailey. No Mas!
