Bad Miller, Bad Miller!

Okay, so we don't say that, but we certainly wish we could figure out a way to convince this little fella that although it seems like a great accomplishment worth clapping for, climbing onto the countertops can be hazardous to his health.

SCHOOL!

Today we visited Ella & Miller's classrooms and met their new teachers. They will be attending the Mom's Day Out program on Mondays and both loved all the fun toys to play with.

The Dentist

I truly could not be more proud of these two. They did FABULOUS at the dentist. Ella had a complete cleaning and Dr. Rhodes couldn't find any yuck yucks in either of their mouths. It's hard to believe how much our baby girl has grown since her first appointment(see June 2006).

Son...You Got A Panty On Your Head!

Miller's latest obsession, wearing his sister's bloomers or panties on his head/neck.

Our Little Graduate

Ella graduated from Swim Ranch this weekend with her friend, Marissa. They were able to do all sorts of big girl things like back float, dog paddle, and get in and out of the pool by themselves. They got a certificate with their cookie at the end of class. I will miss Ella saying each week before class, "come on, Mommy, this is going to be fun!"

110th Annual Tontitown Grape Festival

After living here 5 years, we finally managed to make it to the Grape Festival to partake in the famous spaghetti dinner and yummy grape ice cream. This event starts months back with people preparing the spaghetti. The kids enjoyed the carnival and think they will be ready to participate in the Grape Stomp next year.

Melly Photos

Melly took some pictures of the kids when she watched them. These are my favorites. I may put this last one in Miller's baby book under all of the well check entries of "Head...90th percentile"

Today We Say Goodbye To Our Friend

This photo is from our trip to Vegas we took with Susan and her husband in 2004(that was her signature smirk for photos). Susan was beautiful, wicked funny(she said you can solve almost all of life's problems with a SouthPark episode), sensitive and sooooo smart. She was the most talented colorist most people had ever known. She was wise beyond her years, yet always said something so innocent, that reminded me she was only 26. I worked with her during all of my salon/spa years and had many a conversation about life, love, family and clients. She was part of our family as she was each member's hairdresser, including Aimee's. She cared so much for animals (she had 6 ferrets!) and genuinely cared about her craft and how it made people feel about themselves. We will miss our friend terribly and know she was taken much too soon for our liking, but God has other plans in store for her, and we must trust in the Lord.

What A Week!

The Weaver clan came down to visit us last week and we had sooo much fun. Thanks to Grammy, the girls got a trip to the candy store. Grandma joined us to celebrate Audrey's birthday at the bowling alley.
