Updated Stats

Miller had his 1 year check up today. He weighed in at 23lbs 7oz (50%), height 30- 3/4 inches (75%), and head circumference 19.06inches (90%). He is growing consistently and looking great according to his Dr. He got 1 shot and big sister was right there to tell him it would be okay. As you can see, she was right.

Emergency Preparedness Fair

We joined the Milbrodt's for this fun event where the kids got their id kits made, ate lunch, played in the bouncy house, sat in a helicopter, and met Dora & Shrek.

More Farm Friends

The 1st time we went to this event, Ella was Miller's age. Like her back then, he wanted to touch all of the animals. Ella made Miller the official animal touch tester before she would pet them.

Miller has started saying his sister's name anytime he gets excited.

Real Life Dolly

Ella was so excited that after over a year of putting dollies to sleep with blankets, Miller is now actually a willing participant. She put a blanket on the floor and told him to go lay on it to take a nap and he DID IT! Gotta love big sisters.

This Kid

Ella wanted to dress herself for dance class last week and I just had to get a picture of the finished product. shirt and leotard first, then pants, then tights. She was so proud, and I wasn't about to correct her because I was too.

Waterfall

Ella finished yet another row of her potty sticker book which earned her this trip to the waterfall in Bella Vista. Her favorite part was collecting flowers to give Grammy and spotting these ducks cleaning themselves on the dam. Btw, Ella insisted on the sunshine being in the front even though her shirt was on backwards.

As Happy As A Kid In A........

Ella got to pick out some candy as her reward for finishing one of the rows in her potty sticker book. She carefully held her bag open for each of her picks. She was jumping up and down with excitement when she paid for her candy and got to hold it the whole way home. Hooray Ella!

Potty Training Success!

Ella has done a great job staying dry all day. She has filled in almost all of her rows in her sticker book. At the end of each row is a reward. We're so proud of our big girl!

1...2....3 Strikes You're Out!

Tonight we went to the season opener of the new minor league baseball team, NWA Naturals. Ella and Miller had fun playing in the park and watching Strike, the mascot. We also had a nice surprise when we ran into our friend, Brad.

Miller's 1st Haircut

Bye -Bye curl mullet. Before and After shots. When Miller was all done, Ella ran up to him and said, "Miller I love your haircut...I love it, I love it, I love it!" Too bad I had already turned off the camcorder.

Play Clothes

Ella discovered my old scrubs and lab coat I'd been holding onto for her. She requested the stethoscope as well to check everyone's hearts, but Dolly was the only patient that didn't run from her.

Happy Early Birthday, Jake!

Aunt Carmen, Aunt Jennifer, and Jake came for a visit last week. We celebrated his 1st birthday early. We had a great time watching the kids play together. Looking forward to seeing them again!
