Santa Pic 2008

Not the best, but it will do. Miller was actually more willing than Ella this year. She didn't want to sit on Santa's lap, but was willing to stand by him. Miller just wouldn't smile. Doesn't Ella look like her cheeks hurt from holding up that smile for so long? Ella did tell Santa what she & the dogs wanted for Christmas, though.

35 & Stayin' Alive!

Happy Birthday to Daddy! Ella had so much fun icing & decorating his cake and helping blow out the candles. She decided we should suprise him when he got home. She also asked him if it was the best birthday ever & of course he said it was. Miller just kept saying, 'CAKE'.

Little Brother or Sister

Introducing our little sprout or 'scooter' as Jason calls him/her. The whole family went to the ultrasound last week, and I was surprised Ella didn't ask Mari to look at her baby in her belly too. The due date is still April 28th and we are happy to announce that everything looks healthy and well with this itty bitty. The baby is facing on the left hand side and has his/her mouth open. We got to watch the baby having hiccups and sticking his/her tongue out at us. We're very excited to meet this addition to our family.

Annual Christmas Parade

We hit Bentonville this morning for the parade. The kids enjoyed hot chocolate and collecting candy. Our favorite was the NWA Pug Rescue...they were so cute.

Thanksgiving Clan

What a houseful we had over Thanksgiving weekend. There was never a dull moment. We visited Santa, bowled, and generally loved on our family. My favorite was Grandma with Santa...too cute.

Fayetteville Square

We went down to see the lights at the Fayetteville Square and the kids caught a pony ride while they were down there. We're hoping to take Nadia & Audrey & Dominic on the carriage ride over Thanksgiving weekend.

Find the kids

Grammy wanted the kids to see Mary Ellen's village, and we just thought we'd see a couple of people skating or something. We had no idea what we were in store for. This takes her weeks and lots of extension cords to set up every year. It takes up an entire wall and then some. She'll have to start charging us admission because I know the kids will want to see this every year.

Monkey See....

Could this boy idolize his big sister any more? Miller saw Ella curled up on the couch with a blanket and climbed right on up there to do the same. Because if Ella's doing it, it must be the cool thing to do!

Visiting Grandpa Bob & Grandma Judy

We took a quick trip up to Berryville last weekend to test out baby Beau's toys. I think the best discovery was the piano! They decided to leave the clean up to Beau next time he comes to visit.

Posers

What a challenge to get these two to stand still long enough for a picture. Can't imagine what it will be like with three. I haven't been very good at taking their pictures lately, so am trying to do some catching up.

Park Play

The kids drug a reluctant Mommy to the park this morning. I thought it was going to be too cold, but they proved me wrong. I'm glad we went, it got cold and rainy after we left. I am amazed at how much Miller can do at the young age of 20months. He climbed up that chain ladder all by himself, something that Ella just perfected this summer. They both loved chasing each other all around the park and down the slides.

Celebrating Grandma's Birthday

It's that time of year again. Cleaning gutters, raking leaves, and spending time with Grandma. This visit we got to see Ms. Phyllis' farm and her toys as well as her baby calves. Thank you for the yummy lunch!

Isabella's 3rd Birthday Party

The kids had a blast at Isabella's 3rd birthday party at Gymboree. They both loved the bubbles. I couldn't get Isabella to look at me for a picture, but her new baby sister Gabriella was sweet enough to sit still for me to get one.

And then there was one....

After spending most of the time licking her icing off, Ella decided she'd have some cupcake too. All the kids had left the party, but we stayed until Ella finished every last crumb. She makes her Grandma proud.

This Boy Cracks Me Up

Ella loved puzzles at this age and would sit and focus for a long time to get the pieces to fit. Miller has his own style.

Jungle Jack Hanna

What a great privilege to have the opportunity to see Jack Hanna and learn from all his experiences. Ella was tickled when she saw that he was holding a koala bear on the program just like the one she brought to the show! The highlight had to be the cheetah he brought out at the end. What an amazing educational experience for us all.

Halloween JB Hunt Style

Miller followed Ella's lead on his first real Halloween. Their buckets floweth over once again this year at Daddy's work. They went out to a few neighbors house in the evening, but all Miller wanted to do was break and enter. So we went home to enjoy candy and Grammy's company.

KC Trip

We went up to K.C. this past weekend to celebrate early Halloween. The kids couldn't get enough of each other, and they loved playing games with Grandma. Nadia had her last game to cheer and we all went to the Deanna Rose Halloween celebration. I took the camera, but never took a single picture. Luckily daddy got a few shots with his phone.

End of a Season

We went to the Naturals ballpark one last time this year for the season ticket holder appreciation day. We didn't see any baseball, but got to tour the park and watch some batting practice in the cages. The kids took a break in the clubhouse for a photo after battling the cold in the bouncy houses.

The Funniest Knock Knock Joke Ever

We can never make it to the punchline with these clowns.

Skipper the Scarecrow

Since we were out of town during the annual Rogers Fall Festival this year, we had to create our own scarecrow in the back of daddy's pickup. Ella & Miller mostly played on the hay bale, but liked the final product enough to say goodnight to him every night before going to bed.

Chile Pepper Run

Daddy ran his first 10K this weekend at the 20th annual Chile Pepper run in Fayetteville. He completed with his best time and got to share it with his friend, Brad. We are so proud of our Daddy!!!

Halloween 2008

Although Ella changes her mind daily, we are making her stick with the cheerleader costume for Halloween. Miller isn't much of a fan of the peacock, but had to get some more use out of this one. We won't make him be a cheerleader next year, I promise.
