Just Another Day On The Job

Miller is quite the flirt these days. He smiles at everyone, regardless of how tired or how much those darn teeth hurt. He's graduated out of the 'baby' carseat due to his size and the bruises on mommy's legs from carrying it. He also took his first trip to the store in the front seat of the shopping cart. He loved it and kicked his legs the whole time.

No Autographs, Please

Ella loves her dance class. She comes home and sings the songs and does the steps (Here she's displaying 'heel together'). Her bag from Aunt Peanut works great for her ballet and tap shoes. Thank you.

Happy Birthday Ms. Ruth!

Mommy got to 'suffer' (as Mr. James puts it) through a spa day with Ms. Ruth, Ms. Sheila, and Ms. Kelly to celebrate 30 years of this magnificent woman.

Look At Me!

Ella couldn't wait to put on her new pink shirt from Aunt Carmen & Aunt Jennifer from their trip to the Cape. Miller couldn't stop bouncing long enough for Mommy to get a good picture of his 2 bottom teeth.

The Fair

They kept most of the animals in pens...but somehow the Sakalares family escaped from theirs!

Miller's 1st Food

Miller started with sweet potatoes today. We're not quite sure what he thinks of them, but can tell the bib felt better on his teeth than his food.

Chef Ella

Ella has become quite the pro pourer, stirrer, taster when it comes to helping mommy cook. She absolutely MUST have her apron on that Ms. Ruth made her.

1st Day Back to School

Ella started back at our church's Mom's Day Out program today. She went in with enthusiasm, said "I need a dolly", and kissed me goodbye! Little Miss Independent.

Make Me Laugh!

Since everyone else is playing with video on their blog, we thought we would too. Miller broke his first tooth through this weekend and the next one is right there.

Happy Labor Day Engagement Anniversary!

6 years ago today, during a picnic, I told the best man I know, I'd be honored to be by his side forever. 2 have now turned into 4 and we couldn't be more blessed or happy.

Daddy's Smile

I am getting more and more smiles on camera from Mr. Miller lately, and couldn't help but notice he's inherited his grin from his Daddy.

Dressing Herself

I had to snap a picture of Ella today when I saw what she had put on to go to our annual picnic. Pink shirt (on backwards), pink shorts, and pink snow boots. She was sooo proud of herself. We talked her into different shoes (pink, of course) later.
