Although Aunt Aimee and Audrey just got a trim, Nadia decided to go all 6 year old on us and get a new cut! You go girl!

Miller's 1st Christmas

Ella & Miller set out the snacks for Santa and the reindeer. That morning they both enjoyed opening their gifts with Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma. I think Ella was a little disappointed that she didn't get to 'see' Santa. Before bed she jumped up and down and said, 'It's Jesus' birthday!' What kid doesn't like a good birthday party?

Christmas with the Hudmans

The Hudman's came down for a nice long visit before Christmas and played with Ella until she dropped. Miller and Jake enjoyed pawing and crawling over each other as usual.

Ella's Last Day of School

I took this picture by her school bag to show how much she's grown and that it's time to move on....both by moving up to the 3-4 year old class in January and replacing the pictures (which I think were taken around 11months old).

9 Months Old!

Our handsome man had his 9month check up last week and got his 6th tooth today! He was 29inches tall (80%), 21 lbs (70%), and still had a big ol' head at 18 1/2 inches (90%). He is consistently sleeping through the night, nursing 3 times/day, and starting to eat lots of the same foods we eat. He loves to hoot and holler with his sister and crawl with speed everywhere, racing mommy and daddy to the water bowls and the staircase. He has lots of bumps and bruises on his head from opening/closing/walking into doors, and pulling up while sometimes falling down. :(

2007 Christmas Parade

Ella had so much fun at her first Christmas Parade stuffing her pockets with candy. When she got home, she started picking up her toys and pretending it was candy that had been thrown on the ground.

Xanadu

We all went roller skating while the Weaver girls were here. Grammy and Miller watched on the sidelines, while Grandma stayed home to recover. I think the girls liked dancing on the bench after they took their skates off most of all!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

The cousins came down for Thanksgiving and always make our house a little cheerier. Can't wait to see them at Christmas.

I Am Thankful For.....

my children's creativity and smiles. Here are a few of my favorite pictures over the past week or so. Ella put her swimsuit on and figured out if she put balls in the heels of daddy's shoes they wouldn't slip off. Loved her posing her dolls/teddy and taking their picture. Not sure what the ziploc around dolly is all about. Just in love with our little boy's smile. Happy Thanksgiving!

Miller's 8 Months

Our big boy is growing up. His crawling is very efficient now, and he's discovered the stairs, cat food, and water bowls. Now the fun begins!

Where's Carmen, Jennifer, & Baby Jake?

Ella still doesn't understand why her aunts and cousin aren't at all of her activities again this week. We miss them so much and can't wait to see them at Christmas.

Jay Turns 4!

Jay had a CARS birthday party last weekend. Ella's favorite part was going for the candy after the pinata broke.

We went to Ruth's Chris for opening night last night and learned a few things:

1. The lobster bis"KAY" was just o"KAY".
2. You can take the girl out of the country...
3. Mommy and Daddy should get out more often.

Ella's Big Girl Bed!

Ella has been out of her crib for almost 2 weeks and we finally got everything moved into her new room. She loves her bed and especially loves having enough room to tuck all of her dollies in for the night.

Fresh, Clean Babies

Bathtime might be our family's favorite time of day. Ella & Miller love their bath together. Afterwards, Ella entertains Miller by jumping on our bed while we finish getting him dressed. He thinks she is simply the best!

Crawling

Miller is officially mobile. He is also sitting up from a crawling position and has two new teeth on top. He weighed in today at 20 1/2 lbs. I suspect pulling up will come soon as he is starting to look and reach for things above his head.
